So I'm working on a picture, well trying to.. I was all gung ho on making this piece and I totally love the sketch, but I went to try and paint it and I'm having SUCH a hard time. I don't want it to be perfect and smooth, I want a kind of painter quality to it, but the skin is making me crazy. I can't get the shadows right, I can't get the highlights right, and I just keep scrapping it because even when I try a different method it always ends up looks like a pile of brown or blue smudge.
